March Style Edit

March, we are so ready for you.

For me, March 1st heralds the first day of spring. I know it technically doesn’t, and most often than not weather wise either, but I’m sticking to my guns. Spring starts right there and then.

What a March we have this year with Mother’s Day, St Patrick’s Day and Easter all jam packed in. Here at MeAmora, we have a nail shade for the occasion, the mood and the fashion scene.

On that front you’ll be glad to know that several fashion trends are sticking around and making not so much of a comeback but a continuation. So no need for a new wardrobe!

Maxi dresses being one trend. Floaty and voluminous, they pretty much take on any vibe and it’s the pastel colours that take the lead.

And so what better nail colour combo to bring you than Love Spell. The colour range in this collection takes you from a pale warm apricot through to mid and deeper dusky pinks, culminating in a vibrant rose. In the very increasingly popular Medium Squoval shape, which is not only answering the prayers of the wider longer nail bedded client, but is proving just as popular across the board. A pop of the rose colour against the subtlety of the other more delicate shades, will get you noticed.

Red in all its many guises would seem to be a perennial shade exuding classic, classy style and we have a red for all at MeAmora. Introducing the latest shade Fizzy Berry. This comes in a shorter Squoval shape. A mix of raspberries and loganberries it’s deep shiny and rich in colour. Black/white and neutrals dominate the fashion scene at the moment and what better to contrast a monochromatic look with this striking little number.

Let’s talk trousers. The devoted are still hanging onto their skinny jeans as if life depended on it, indeed there are times when only a skinny will do but, I’m here to tell you that loose flowing wide legs pants are in and they’re in for a while. Pretty much any fabric goes but the drapier the material the more flattering the silhouette. The wider legged denims are heavy and chunky and don’t necessarily add inches where you might want them i.e length not width.

Cargo pants are also in big time and these are fabulous! They can be uber casual but quickly dressed up with a cropped/shorter top and heels, and your nails to suit.

Finally, we bring you Pop Egg. Is this not the most Easter appropriate nail you’ve ever seen? Like little mini eggs, this design includes key pastel shades, perfect for Spring. Good enough to eat!

Yellow and lilac are not the easiest colours to wear in clothing but of course, as a wardrobe accessory in the nail department, a breeze. Bring on the chocolate (your nails and lashes will always fit).
